FRIST!! It's got be! lol
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a brill time, unfortunately I didn't get time to check your Instagram so I'm looking forward to reading all about your trip.
DeleteI love the first photo with the stream tumbling over the rocks; I bet the water was freezing though!
You are! Congrats!
DeleteWe had a great time. I did not put even my pinky finger in the water, because the water had to be freezing.
awesome looking trip - very jealous -- I just had a very tasty Lasagna - most certainly grateful for that!
ReplyDeleteA tasty lasagna is always something to be thankful for!
DeleteBeautiful - we need to join you guys you make traveling fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be writing about the different places we went. It isn't all that far from you! You could follow right along our route. :)
DeleteHow fun. I knew you'd all have a great time and it sure looks like you did. It's good to spend quality time with the kids. They grow up so fast.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
Now that Phoenix is closing in on 17, I'm overly aware of how fast time is going. I am treasuring every single moment.
DeleteThis looks like a beautiful trip! Especially the nature pictures, simply beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is some of the most beautiful terrain in the US. I love visiting the area. It's hard to take a bad photo, really.
DeleteThe steam with the rocks is gorgeous! I'm thankful to be sleeping in a little extra this week instead of getting up so early and getting my kid out the door for school.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I just happened to see it off to the side of the road. I guess there are so many waterfalls in Tennessee, they don't even bother making note of them.
DeleteSleeping in is the best. Enjoy it to the fullest!
Great photos! Can't wait to hear more about what looks like an awesome trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI can't wait to hear more! I know I've said this, but you were exploring one of my most favorite (maybe most favorite) parts of this country. This girl loves Appalachia! And I really don't know what's better than leaping rock to rock in a mountain river or stream.
ReplyDeleteI can see why it's a favorite. That area of the country is just plain beautiful.
DeleteWe did a whole lot of jumping on rocks. Don't know why it's fun, but it is!
Love the pics! Emma and I stopped at the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi because you did last year. Only it's not really there right now. Just a big bunch of water where it shouldn't be. Seems the rivers are a wee bit flooded. We could SEE the road to take, but only because of the street lights that lined it, not because we actually saw pavement. Sadness and disappointment.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!! I love that you stopped there! Sorry it was all under water. Did you have to cross the scary bridge?
DeleteNicely done, even if someone did take up all your writing time. :-) It looks like your trip was another memory-maker!
ReplyDelete:) Actually, someone took up my reading time, but I don't mind it one bit. I just forgot to link it this morning when I posted it.
DeleteIt was, no doubt about it.
Looks like you guys had a fantastic time. Sometimes the unplanned, spur of the moment, get up and go plans are the best. I loved the sliding down the hill on cardboard pieces. Looks like the road trip filled up all of your senses and brought family joy!
ReplyDeleteWe most certainly did.
Deletevery cool…. yeah (I'm with Lizzi…. throwing rocks for maximum splash… what's not to like?)
ReplyDelete(what was up with the letters in the next to last photo?)
Well, I was the one bearing the brunt of all that splashing, so for them it was just plain fun. :)
DeleteAha! You shall see! I bet you'll never be able to guess. :)
awesome photos !
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteThrowing rocks is especially fun when Mom gets soaked in the process. :)
ReplyDeleteThe rain wasn't bad, as it wasn't all that cold. The boys didn't mind it one bit.
Aw, I'm sorry there wasn't much smiling today, but I'm glad your friend was there to bring some happy to the day.
I love reading/seeing about all your adventures. Looks like you guys had a great 2nd Annual Unplanned Spring Break trip!!! :D
