S...I feel your pain - if that's the right word. Since the Fab Hub started his job last week, it is me and Kidzilla,. Just me and Kidzilla. Alone. The two of us. All day. All. Day.
I love her to pieces and I definitely enjoy being with her. But. Is it bad that I am a mommy who does not entirely enjoy sitting on the floor playing for hours and hours and hours? It's not my thing. A project? Sure. Help me cook or bake or clean? Sure. Play a game with a point or purpose? OK, maybe. But I can't move one way or the other that she isn't right there, just like you said.
I suppose it may have something to do with the fact that the Hub has been the at-home guy on duty for two full years. She misses him. This is weird for her. We're all adjusting.
I wish you and Cuckoo...I don't know. I wish you whatever it is I wish for myself until Zilla is back in school on September 2.
And no half-day Kindergarten? He did go through a 'guess what it is' phase though and like you I collected many prizes - and even after all these years I probably still have some of them in a box somewhere. Times like that can never be replaced - once they start big school they seem to grow up so fast :(Tigermousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11386636767916316587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1329563580023354380.post-60726722586930756802014-08-14T19:29:35.222-04:002014-08-14T19:29:35.222-04:00He needs a little buddy that's not in school y...He needs a little buddy that's not in school yet either.
