He Said/He Said

To tide you over until I have more than 5 minutes to write...

Conversation in the back of the van:
Cuckoo:  Mom wouldn't let me wear my boots, because they have holes in them.
Turken:  I don't have any boots.
Cuckoo:  She let me wear my raincoat, though.
Turken:  I don't have a raincoat.
pause
Turken:  Rain is going to be a problem for me.

*************

Another conversation in the van:

Cuckoo:  Where are we going now?
Me:  To the hospital so Turken can get an x-ray.
Turken:  They're taking a picture of my bone.
pause
Turken:  Do I need to smile when they take it?

**************

After doing this:

Cuckoo:  Do you know why I did that?
Me:  No clue.
Cuckoo:  To get the boogers off my nose.

So many blog posts in my head.  So little time to write them.

Until next time...

Have a lovely day!

    1. I've tried! The one store I go to on a regular basis didn't have boots his size. It'll happen someday. :)

Soon. The schedule is opening up just a bit next week.

  3. Rain is going to be a problem for all of us living where we do...raincoat or boots or not. Love those boys! :)

And for crying out loud, you went to the store last Thursday...didn't you get any tissues for Cuckoo? Must he use his upper lip? ;)

  7. yeah… it's funny how simple statements, irrespective of context or (actual) meaning seem to jump out and say, "core of a Post! core of a Post!"
