We live next to a cattle ranch, after all. The funny thing was that when it happened we were gone until that night, and then it snowed overnight. The next morning the neighbor came to ask if there was any damage, and we told him we didn't even know they had been in our yard! THEN the snow melted. Cow pies and deep ruts where their hooves sunk in the mud were everywhere. But thankfully, no real damage. After a few weeks the cow pies disappeared and the ruts filled in. I've talked to people who say cats make them nervous because they just 'can't figure them out' or 'don't know what they're thinking.' Cats, no. Dogs, definitely no. But, cows...I just can't figure them out and they are so huge and... yeah. I even had a scary dream about them--I was probably 15 or 16 years old--and I can still remember that dream to this day! So this story made me laugh--especially the blurry picture. Great stuff!

Lovely, lovely list! Happy Birthday to Giant!
